Parlay: (5 units)
Olivier Rochus -225 over Nicolas Mahut (Montreal)
Rochus is coming off a couple of disappointing tournaments but losing to some VERY quality opponents: Zabaleta 1st round @ Stuttgart (clay) and Verdasco in Kitzbuhel (clay). Olivier is 3-7 YTD on this surface BUT is 13-7 on hardcourt this year. Also was 6-3 during the grass season, see the trend? Mahut on the other hand is challenger/qualifier guy and is 2-13 since 2000 on hardcourt. He went 0-5 last year on the surface and is 0-2 this year (0-7 last 2). Rochus should have little difficulty here with Mahut.
Luis Horna -320 over Mariano Puerta (Montreal)
Horna played great last week @ Washington disposing of Phillippoussis, Hrbaty and Ginepri... Ginepri playing VERY well lately as well. It's been proven Luis can do well on hardcourt, he's only been around a few years and should improve. He's no stranger to acing either, got an above average serve. Puerta on the other hand is Roland Garros runner up but has played 8 hardcourt matches in the last 5 years (2000) and he's 1-7 in those matches. He hasn't played a single hardcourt match this year. His serve and physical stature doesn't help him in this one against a much more 'hardcore' player in Horna
Smack this parlay guys it should be a good one...
GL!
