Colts are injury and travel ravaged. Dungy just wants to get out of here with bodies.
Bills have been blitzing in practice, playing loose. Even took in a movie as a team on Wednesday. Like the attitude early on, camp isn't wearing them down. Props to coach Mularkey for that. Like seeing vets Holcomb and Mathews getting bulk of 2nd half vs. the scrubs. Colts have Sorgi and Brown (former Bills backup)
The Colts first unit on defense, composed heavily of young players, will play extensively against the Bills.
ego note: I was alarmed when they said first unit, but much of the first unit is out. Bills could wear these other guys out (lack of rotation, especially in front 7)
Out of action: Players ruled out of Saturday's game: defensive ends Dwight Freeney (shoulder), Raheem Brock (hip) and Jonathan Welsh (knee), defensive tackle Josh Williams (sports hernia), Montae Reagor (groin) and Sweet Pea Burns (knee), cornerbacks Von Hutchins (foot), Donald Strickland (hamstring) and Nick Harper (foot), safeties Mike Doss (groin), Daryl Dixon (thigh) and Gerome Sapp (shoulder), linebacker Tyjuan Hagler (sports hernia) and Chris Laskowski (shoulder), guard Dylan Gandy (foot), offensive tackle David Porter (knee/ankle), tight end Dallas Clark (hamstring), center Jeff Saturday (hamstring) and wide receivers Brandon Stokley (shoulder) and Troy Walters (hip). |
