2 units JIC -157 over Spadea...Chela has had a nice hardcourt season at 19-11 and had some solid wins this summer, whereas spadea has struggled w a 10-13 hc record. both players are coming off first round losses last week, spadea losing to phau in straights, and JIC in a tight match to soderling...think JIC is in better form and gets it done here...h2h is 1-0 chela but that was played on clay

2 units PARADORN +110 over Verdasco...Verdasco had a nice run at the us open, but has been nursing a groin injury and only sports a 13-8 hc record, including 1-3 indoors this yr...paradorn is 16-14 on hc, 5-3 indoors this yr and while his play has been spotty, he is the better hc player and owns a 1-0 h2h on hc, defeating verdasco in straights at the us open in 03...look for him to come out on top here.
