At first glance I'm not a big fan of this card, but I'm sure I'll find enough plays to satisfy my hunger. 48 plays last week was just silly anways. Thursday Night:
Maryland has been up and down all year. They even struggled early in the game against TEMPLE. Virginia Tech should come out and try to prove that they belong in the BCS championship game and start pounding it. As of now I'd buy it to -10 because I'm thinking this line is going to go up, up, up... Timh, if you get time, I'd like to hear your thoughts on Maryland before I put anything in. Saturday:
Is it just me or does anyone else think the Syracuse line is crazy? Pittsburgh has been so damn inconsistent this year it's not even funny. If I can get Syracuse plus two touch down's I'll really have to consider it. Then again the only time I've made money on Pittsburgh games this year is when I didn't put a play on their game.
I'll do a better breakdown of Big 10 games later in the week, but personally I like Michigan State to win big, Michigan to pull off a close game again, and Ohio State to win by 20+ points.
I'd like to fade Duke and get Florida State down to 28, and somehow get it to 14 first half, but I don't want to pay -140 to get that. It's only going to go up to. May have to just stay off of it, or assume they'll cover the bigger spread. Northern Illinois stands out to me, but I'm not too familiar with Kent State.
I personally feel Notre Dame is going to be up for their next game against BYU. That game should have given them MORE confidence, so I'm expecting a blowout by Notre Dame.
I'd have pulled the trigger on Wisconsin if I could get them at -7, but now that it's up to 8, I'm going to wait a bit. To me there isn't much different from 8-10 point spreads, well unless a team wins by 9... I think Jump put it best about this game when I was talking to him, he said, "I wouldn't bet on Purdue with your money."
I like Texas A&M, but I'd like to see what Den's thoughts are on it.
I need to look at what the hell Miami was doing against Temple in the second half, but I'd think Georgia Tech is too good to get beat by 16.5 to a low scoring Miami team.
I'm flip/flopping more than John Kerry on Texas/Texas Tech...
Will continue to fade Illinois and probably take Penn State. Just wondering how they'll play after last week and the injury to WR Williams.
I can't take LSU anymore that's for sure. Auburn if it gets over a TD might be something I'd strongly look at. North Texas a 17+ point dog? Interesting... Rice as a home dog looks like a friendly pup as well. |
