Default The Alamo Bowl

Looking at stats alone Nebraska seems to matchup quite nicely here.

Nebraska on offense avg 24 to Michigan's 28.8
320.5 total offensive yards to Michigan's 382.8

Defense

Nebraska allowing 20.4 to Michigan's 19.3
Nebraska giving up a total of 326.0 to Michigan's 347.6
202.3 through the air compared to Michigan's 211.5
123.7 compared to Michigan's 136.1 on the ground

On paper these teams seem to matchup well and I am looking for Cory Ross to have a big day on the ground. If Nebraska can gain positive yards on the ground consisitently then they have a shot to stay in this game and possibly win SU.

Looking at this line the only injury that has occured was to Bo Rudd LB who broke his arm on the 18th of December in practice. I do not believe he is a key enough player to affect a line move and even if he was that line should go up in Michigan's favor. With 71% on Michigan this line should not have dropped 1.5 points.

Lean

Nebraska +10.5
