What a night on Wednesday. Thought I'd be chasing all night when I started 1-6-1. The 1H plays weren't coming in last night in the early games. Then to get a f'in push on NCST first half, because the dumbfucks let NCST go on a 7-2 run or something like that to end the half had me in panick mode. Also got a bad line on the Marquette 1H -3, but at least I didn't lose that one. Got lucky getting the covers on Michigan and Tennessee, and from what I hear Texas plus I hit my 6 team ML parlay for $800+. Not something a person can make a living doing, but I'm starting to enjoy these big favorites and taking them straight up in a few team parlay. Went and watched a movie, thinking I probably had Duke, Marquette, and Kentucky games, and figured a loss on Texas - come back to check out how I did, and I was pumped seeing Oklahoma came in to give me the parlay, Marquette, Kentucky and to my suprise Texas covered, then I see Duke didn't cover the spread. $945 swing right there... I can't be upset with the great night, but that would have just been off the charts if Duke covered. I'm starting my mid-conference season swing here, and I can only hope to keep it going like last year.

George Washington at Xavier -3.5
I see a lot of people are on Xavier already. I'd take them here right now if I didn't think the line would move down, as GW has played the weaker schedule, the unranked team is favored while they're playing at home, and Xavier is returning 5 starters on a team that won against GW last year by 19 and by 1 (on the road). I'm a bit concerned about Xavier's ability to win ATS going 3-7 in their last 10 games, including not covering their last 4. If the line moves the other way with more money on Xavier count me out, otherwise I'll play for $75-$100...

North Carolina at Maryland -3
I'm really thinking that the academic suspension of Chris McCray is going to start catching up to Maryland pretty soon. I'd love UNC in this position if Maryland lost to Temple their last time out. That's not the case though. UNC also isn't the greatest road team. They're streaky though as most young teams are. Maryland is also 7-1 ATS since 1997 when playing UNC at home. Can DJ and the boys step it up on the home court and make Gary Williams the all time winningest coach in Maryland history??? Personally I'm still tempted to take the points. I'll sleep on it.

Wisconsin-Milwaukee -4.5 at Wright State
UWM is one of my favorite teams to play. They've got one loss in conference and I don't see that changing against Wright State. Wright State is 5-4 in conference, but 2 of the wins were against Youngstown State and one against Cleveland State... the perenial bottom feeders of the Horizon league. I'll take my chances once again with UWM.

Old Dominion at Hofstra -2
I'm a bit worried about how Hofstra won at OD already this year. If Old Dominion would have won at home, Hofstra would have been one of my bigger situational plays. I do like to see Hofstra is 5-1 ATS at home this year, and Old Dominion is 2-10 ATS against teams with winning records like Hofstra. It just seems this series historically splits their games... I'll go with a small play on Hofstra.

UWGB at Butler -14
When I first looked at this line I thought someone was joking. Thought at most Butler would be a 7 or 8 point favorite. The more I look at the game, I'm thinking it might be a good game to say far far away from. UWGB is such a streaky team, you never know what you're going to get. UWGB lost by 13 at Ill-Chicago after beating them by 6 at home... Buter has beaten Illinois-Chicago by 28 and 19... Wisconsin has won at Loyola-Chicago by 6, a team Butler lost to by 10. With all of that said I'd take the double digit dog 99 out of a 100 times. What is really scaring me off is Butler's recent success against UWGB. Butler is 7-2 ATS at home versus uwgb since 97' and have beaten UWGB by 20+ points in 2 of their last 3 meetins (with UWGB winning AT Butler the other time). Butler is returning 5 starters from last years team, and UWGB is the 2nd or 3rd youngest team in the country. Smart move is to just stay away from it.

Drexel at UNC Wilmington -8
I want to take Drexel but everything is point to a UNC Wilmy cover... No play as of now. Could end up taking either side.
