Monthly/Yearly "POD" Play of the Day Rules

Going with a different twist from last month. Not only will the standings be for the month, but will carry over for the entire year.

There will be the $150 1st place and $50 2nd place monthly prizes still but there will also be a grand prize for the best units for the whole year. I haven't decided what that will be yet, but it will be a huge prize! So don't give up if you are down in the month!

1. A POD thread will be posted everyday and you must post your play of the day in that thread using a unit scale of 1-5 on your play.

2. 1 play a day only in any sport using a spread, moneyline or total. You can use any one pick. No parlays or anything using more than 1 Team/Player.

3. YOU MUST Post your POD with the Sport, Team/Player, Line, Units from 1-5 and the sportsbook you used. No Locals. No Moneylines or plays over -150 and nothing over +400.

(ex.) NBA Lakers -4 (-110) Olympic for 3 units

If you don't post all of the above, the play WILL NOT COUNT!

Please no one complain about different books use different lines. That is part of being a successful bettor and getting the most out of your money. Shopping the best line available. If you don't have more than 1 book, I highly suggest that you do.

I will check up on everyones plays and see the opening line and the current line and if the line posted is way off it will count as a loss.

4. The monthly POD sessions will run every 30 days. At least 23 plays must be made to qualify. That gives everyone 1 full week to miss if they want or can't be around.

The yearly will run till next Febuary. To qualify for the yearly grand prize you must have a minimum of 23 picks in at least 6 months of POD sessions or 240 total POD picks during the year.

5. You must have 30 NON-POD quality posts at the end of the 30 days to qualify for the $150 and $50 monthly sportsbook accounts and 400 NON-POD posts to qualify for the grand prize. This is to prevent the people who contribute here to always be shit out of luck all the time.

6. No editing of posts or posting your play after the game has started. If any of the 2 are done, the play will count as a loss. Just post again if you missed something.

7. 1 entry/IP only. Don't sign up under a different name and post twice. I can see the IP's. Both will be disqualified.

8. The winner with the most units at the end of the 30 day monthly session will be POD Monthly Champion and receive a free $150 account, 2nd place will recieve a $50 betting account at the Sportsbook or Poker Room of your choice on this site that you never played with before. SCI must get the refferal. 3x rollover applies.

The winner with the most units at the end of the year will be SCI POD Champion. Read here for Details.

Will keep standings and units on everyone updated everyday. Most likely put them in the following day POD threads.
