I am not the best at writing (essay , thought , whatever .. but here goes..)

Ok lets start off with some stats.. Sebastian is 7-1 against Lapentti, the only loss coming on carpet in 99 .. The last win coming a few weeks ago in miami ..(6-3, 6-4)

Lappenti's journy in getting here came with some decent wins..but i wouldnt say they were against any "special" clay courters..lappentti plays 53% of his matches on clay. Looking at the match facts i would say his best win was against a tired ZIB. Kim (20% clay) Blake(20% Clay- and a 14-16 record in 3 set TB's)

Sebastiens journy to the semis has deffinitly suprised me ! Though it looked like sebastian was serving and playing well I think Andre gave a way the match in frustration. Seb did have quite a few aces though.. so who knows how motivated andre was ..

Seb's foes here.. Phau (30% clay player and a lossing record) with a 3 set win ,Hernandez (98% clay 147-88 record) with a 3 set win, But what really sticks out in my mind..is sebs losses prior to this... GG in miami (6-2, 6-3), Ferrer in Indian wells (6-2,3-6,6-1), TJ & JJ in davis cup (clay) all these players many steps above a lapenti in my book..Also Seb has not done much traveling he lives in s florida ( a few miles form me actually) and has played all recent matches on US soil (since 3/13) lapenti playing @ 4x as many matches between mexico , bermuda, etc.. (all atp events started in as Q)

Well in summing up this is were lapentis' little run in HOUSTON ENDS..Grosjean the better player , better form , and deffintly gets the EDGE
