WEDNESDAY

- So far in Tuesday nights game the only guy doing anything offensively for the Cubs is Carlos Zambrano with a 2 run homer. Bush has been bad on the road, so I don't know if you could take the Brewers in this game at -120, even with as bad as Chicago has been. I would really focus on the over with how the Brewers power numbers have been going at Wrigley. Have to see what that is on Wednesday.

$75 Detroit -155
- Taking a big favorite here against Andy Pettitte, but Pettitte has a 7.75 ERA and a 1.806 WHIP in 7 starts on the road. Although Detroit has better splits against righties than lefties, so that could hurt them in this one.

- Don't like the Braves/Yanks game, but Smoltz two career start against the Yanks he has a 6.30 ERA and is 0-1. Weng has pitched good this season, so I'd lean with them - especially with the Brave's struggles offensively.

$50 Dodgers +260
- Pure value bet... Both teams have similar records - but I don't feel the difference between Santana and Perez is worth this much.

- Kris Benson has some good numbers against the Phillies when he pitched for the Mets. He's definately a better option than Mathieson. I'm thinking of taking the RL in this one, and I don't currently have a number for it.

$75 Boston +100
- Pretty much an even matchup right down the line. Giving Beckett the edge because of his past success against the Mets and being at home.

- Shawn Hill has struggled in his two road starts this year. Ted Lilly has pitched phenominal in his most recent outtings. Taking Toronto at -175 though isn't something I'd recommend. I may take the RL, but I'll think on it.

$100 White Sox -155
- Got to keep fading Pittsburgh until they can show they can win on a consistent basis. Maholm numbers are nothing to write home about.

$50 Florida -140
-
Same as fading Pitt, got to keep taking Florida.

- I love it if KC can keep winning against NL Central teams, but I can't bet one way or another.

$75 Cleveland +170
- Lee has actually been pitching better than Carpenter lately. Stl. losing streak...

$125 Seattle -120
- King Felix against struggling Arizona.

- Looking at Harden and the A's... Great numbers he's been putting up recently.
