$75 Cubs -145
$100 Brewers/Cubs OVER 9
- Prior should be getting back into MLB shape finally after his first two starts. I expect a bit more out of him today. The Brewers are really hitting the long ball on this trip, so I'm stil expecting a few runs out of them. The Brewer's bullpen looks like it has crappy numbers, but just looking at that doesn't tell the whole story. For the most part the backend of the Brewer's rotation of Capellan, Wise, and Turnbow have been pretty solid. What happens though is when a Brewers starter comes out early in a game (Gonzalez averaging less than 5 innings in his 3 starts) is the middle relief just allows the game to be blown open. Guys like Jared Fernandez, Justin Lehr, Joe Winkelsas, Dan Kolb, Chris Demaria, and Jorge de la Rosa just haven't been getting the job done. If a Brewer starter can get through at least 6 the backend can take over, but with these guys making spot starts that just hasn't been the case. I'm looking for a very high scoring game today... Something along the lines of 8-5 Cubs. |
