 College Football Computer Picks vs. 5 Dimes

PENN STATE (-16.5) 20 over Akron - The computer was 7-4 ATS with both teams last year. The Zips displayed offense in last season's run to their first MAC title. But they also allowed 30 or more points on six different occasions.
OHIO STATE (-18) 21 over Northern Illinois - The computer was 10-1 SU, 7-4 ATS with the Buckeyes in 2005. It was 7-4 SU and 7-3 ATS with the Huskies last season. The opening week last year saw seven games between MAC and BIG 10 teams with the Big 10 winning all seven, four of them by 20 points or more.
NAVY (-11) 17 over East Carolina - East Carolina is the computer's best ATS team since 2001 with a 38-18 record. Last year, the computer was 7-4 SU and 7-4 ATS with the Pirates. It was 9-2 SU and 7-4 ATS with Navy. The computer has the Midshipmen poised for an 11-1 season. Sports Illustrated projects Navy as a 10-2 team. The computer has ECU posting just two wins after improving to 5-6 in 2005.
