Default 8 Saturday bets...

12-4 going into tonight's game...

Texas Tech(-7.5) at UTEP -
UTEP gives up passing yards in truckloads, recipe for disaster against Texas Tech... I'd say the line is a fairly safe move to (-13.5). Bet365 has Tech
-13.5 at +165.
My guess:
Texas Tech - 55 to 38 - UTEP

New Mexico State(+6.5) vs. New Mexico -
Not sure how a team loses to a I-AA by double figures, and ends up being installed as a touchdown favorite on the road over a rival. Consider moving the line to +7.5 for insurance, but I see it being a 3 point game either way.
My guess:
New Mexico - 10 to 7 - New Mexico State

Over 50 and Texas(-3) vs. Ohio State -
Ohio State gave up a bajillion yards to NIU's rushing attack. Texas will run all over them... Now OSU will score a lot of points, I can just see Texas hanging 35+. Gonna be one of those 42-38 kind of games.
My guess
Texas - 38 to 35 - Ohio State

Under 39 Georgia at South Carolina -
Spurrier or no Spurrier, Mark Richt ain't chopped liver. I don't see how either team is going to reach 20.
My guess
Georgia - 17 to 11 - South Carolina

Washington(+16.5) at Oklahoma -
Washington isn't THAT bad, and Oklahoma can barely move a football lately.
My guess
Oklahoma - 21 to 10 - Washington

Rice(+28) at UCLA -
A one point Rice loss to Houston + a big UCLA win over a Utah team in decline does not equal powerhouse. Only powerhouses get installed at realistic 28 point favorites on anybody except Sun Belt teams(or Temple).
My guess
UCLA - 35 to 10 - Rice

NIU(-15) vs. Ohio -
Blowout, bigger than the UCLA game. NIU won't have to throw the ball to win by 3 TDs.
My guess
NIU - 52 to 14 - Ohio

Ole Miss ML at Missouri(+325) -
Bit of a stretch, but the transfers led to a win over Memphis last week...
Just a hunch, but Memphis is better than Missouri as long as Pinkel is there.
My guess
Ole Miss - 31 to 21 - Missouri

Opinion
Does not count

Over 46.5 Tennessee vs. Air Force -
Tennessee should be able to hang at least 35 points on Air Force, while the Falcons will confuse Tennessee enough to make up the difference. Not actually laying on this myself though, as I refuse to bet on the Vols... they've got to be the most unpredictable team in CF the last 5 years.
My guess:
Tennessee - 42 to 21 - Air Force
