Adding Texas Tech -1.5 @ TCU
Last time these two met Red Raiders laid a 35 pt whoopin' on the Horned Frogs. Texas Tech still has a potent offense and can score in bunchs, and while TCU is an improved team capable of making it a game, Tech should prevail on the arm of Graham Harrell. Tech 42-37
Missouri @ New Mexico +14
Missouri may have found its next Brad Smith in Chase Daniel who was 25-41 253 last week against Mississippi but I'm not prepared to spot them 14 on the road just yet. Lobos won a tough inter state tilt last week over New Mex ST Aggies and I see them keeping it close for the most part before falling short...Missouri 31-20 Colorado St +3.5 @ Nevada
After a nine win season in '05 Nevada is finding it tougher to sneak up on opponents so far this year. Last week they were embarrassed 52-21 at Zona St and Colorado St is coming in to Reno on a high from their win in the Rocky mountain showdown. St will need RBs Gartell Johnson and Micheal Myers to earn the tough yards but should prevail...28-24
Navy @ Stanford PK
Call me nuts but this week i'm big on Cardinals. Last week's last minute meltdown against San Jose St should serve as a wake up call and if they've any hope of salvaging this season its got to begin with a win tonight. Navy's a soft 2-0 in my opinion with wins over East Carolina and Massachusetts. Must acknowledge that i am bucking the trends here, in that Navy is 6-0 last 3 yrs when the line is 3 or less. Stanford 37-31
Clemson @ Florida St -4.5
Should be a barn burner of a game between daddy Bobby and son Tommy...but it wont be. Closer look at the history of these two shows an interesting trend..with the exception of '99 17-14 Florida St win the margin of this game has not been within 16 pts with Clemson only managing to win at home. Unfortunately for Tigers they are on the road. Florida St finds its running game tonight, 46 yds in 2 games is so off thats its really not worth factoring in to any handicap, and puts a beating on Clemson...35-17
