Now for the units: 3 units if Jones doesn't start. If Jones starts take this 5 unit game and run. Not one of the Colts SS or CB's can defend Jones. All of the Colts Back 4 are well under 6ft: 2 being 5'8 and 2 being 5'10. Also to make matters worse Sanders is hurt so Giordano is going to have to start. Remember the 4 (or 6) straight completions to Jones during the Cowboys game? Expect that same thing here if Jones starts.
Also remember to shop your lines and get the biggest spread you can, even if it is a 1/2 point. |
I agree with you on the Jags. They look real stout on defense so far this year, even better than last. If I was going to bet this game I'd be on the Jags, but I cannot bet against the Colts at home even getting 7 points for some reason. The Jags played the Colts tough last year and I expect the same to happen again this year, but it's not one of the games I'm looking to bet on tomorrow. I really expect this line to go up to 7.5 by gametime because you know the public is going to bet the Colts at home every game this year no matter the spread.
Yes, shopping lines is very important if you are a serious player and want to make the most money you can over the long run. Nothing worse then shorting yourself out of a better line. Not many consider it because they feel it's not a big deal, but in the long run, it's very necessary. That's the beauty of online sportsbooks, well the legit ones anyway
