It looks like after the Monday night game, even if I lose, I will be on the plus side for the third straight week and plus for the year in the nfl. I am not including ties in my record. My other best bet was the Dolphins +10 vs New England. I thought about buying a half point on that one and it looks like I should have. This is definitely new waters for me. I am going to quit bragging now because I know when you start bragging the winners come to a screeching halt, at least that has been my experience. Anyway, I am currently at plus 4.80 units for the week and I have a strong play and a regular play on tonight’s game, so I am guaranteed to have a winning week no matter what. Here is who I am on tonight.

Baltimore +5.5 vs Denver (strong play)………….I hope this is not a suckers bet…..I don’t think it is. Denver is known for playing great ball at home, so this line is right in my opinion. I really like the addition of Steve McNair to this ball club. I know Baltimore is due to lose and like I said earlier, Denver is a tough place to play. I think the Broncos are over rated, it is as simple as that. I don’t like Plummer. He screws up too much and I think he will be forced into some mistakes tonight and it will cost him at least a cover if not the game. McNair seems to do just enough to win games. I really feel like it will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes, and I am counting on Mr Plummer to make his usual amount.

Under 33 Baltimore/Denver (regular play)…………I don’t play totals too often because I suck at them but I had to take a shot at this one. This game is so obvious that it will go under, that I am taking over. I really think both defenses are going to set up a couple of short drives for both teams. Thirty three is not many points at all, but there is a good reason why the number is so low. I just think it looks like you could put a million dollars on under tonight and we all know what happens, don’t we? I would not be shocked if we saw 14 points scored in the first quarter of this game. I just hope if that is the case that Baltimore has at least seven of them.

I am feeling pretty good about pro football right now and my confidence is a little shaken in college ball even though I am only down less than one unit for the year in college. I am really looking forward to next week already.

Good Luck Everybody!!
