Well, day two turned out to be just the opposite of day one, but with the same results. This time I lost my best bet and won my strong and regular plays. Both days resulted in me losing 0.30 units. Even though I am in the hole right now, it is only for a little over a half unit, so my thinking is not too far off right now. Much bigger schedule for Wednesday night. With more to choose from I hope to have a decent night and get in the plus. Here is today’s card.



Oklahoma St +8.5 vs Kansas (best bet)……………..This will be a war and there is very little chance this game will be a blowout. Yes Kansas will win this game on their home floor, but it will not be decided until late in the fourth quarter. I just cannot pass up the number 9 ranked team, who is 15-1. These are two teams who are dead even and I know Kansas is almost unbeatable at home, but their home court is not worth this many. This is as solid as it gets.


Mississippi +7.5 vs Mississippi St (best bet)…………..These two do not like each other at all. In a rivalry game like this I cannot pass up all these points. Neither team is going to win the SEC title this year. This might be a bit of a down year for Miss St. I am not so sure State is even the better team in this matchup. Like my above best bet, this one is likely to be decided in the final minutes. I would be absolutely shocked if both best bets go down tonight. A split is the worst and I feel pretty good about my chances of going 2-0.


George Washington +5.5 vs U Mass (strong play)……………More of a gut feeling in this one. I almost feel like the wrong team is favored here. GW always has a pretty good team, while U Mass is trying to get back to what they once were. Should be another close one with a very good chance of GW pulling the upset.


Rhode Island +9.5 vs St Louis (strong play)………….I am really loading up on the dogs so far, that makes me a little nervous, but I have to take who I like. I just don’t see how St Louis is favored by this many. St Louis has to be really down right now after losing to Duquesne, yes I said Duquesne in their own building last time out and before that they lost to St Bonny. Something just not clicking with this team and no way I am giving this many to a decent Rhode Island squad.


Pittsburgh -2 vs DePaul (regular play)……………I really like this one, but it scares me. Pitt is definitely the better team, but the better team does not always win. This is a game even though on the road that the panthers should win. Only a small play for me.

Duke +2.5 vs Georgia Tech (regular play)………….Just about everybody is on Tech tonight. Not me. People are acting like Duke is not very good anymore. Georgia Tech is no better than Duke this year and people say they have not lost at home this year, but who have they played? If Duke is good enough to beat Gonzaga this year, they can beat Ga Tech. Again, only a small play for me.

Purdue +8.5 vs Indiana……….Smells like a close one to me.

Rutgers +7.5 vs Syracuse………Tough to win at the RAC.

Davidson -4 vs Furman………..Simply the better team.



Really loaded up tonight. I really like my top four games and my two smaller bets scare me. Watch me lose my top four and win every win everything else including my opinions. That would suck.

Definitely jumped into the fire tonight after taking it easy my first two nights in college hoops.
