***I have removed opinions from my records. They were just for fun anyway and did not count as there were no actual units put on them.

Another winning day, but very small. I actually hit 3 of 4 games, but my one loss was my best bet. I really, really liked my best bet of Duquesne, thought I had an easy winner, but they were never really in the game. I mentioned how I should have made on of my regular bets (Buffalo) a best bet and it was an easy winner. Oh well, those are the breaks…win some, lose some. My overall record is creeping closer to the even mark, so I continue to head in the right direction.

NO BEST BETS TONIGHT.

Louisville -3 vs Marquette (strong play)……………I think of all the sports home field/court means much more in college basketball than anything else, I don’t even think it is close. How many times do you see a really great or red hot team play at an average team and pull it out at the end or even lose outright? It is tough to win conference road games, it is that simple. Yes Marquette is the better team, but there is a reason they are getting points tonight. Sure it will be a tough game, but Louisville will find a way to win this one, I just hope by more than three. I considered the money line, but decided against it. It also seems like the majority of the people are on Marquette as well and you know what happens then.

Loyola-Maryland -5.5 vs Towson (strong play)…………….I am jumping right along with some good cappers on this one. Towson not playing well at all and now must go to Loyola who has played very well at home. Loyola is definitely the better team and playing at home should be more than enough support to cover this spread. Possible blowout here.

Illinois St +6 vs Missouri St (regular play)………….Just playing a hunch here, plus it always feels better taking a home dog in college hoops. Illinois St is 6-2 at home while Missouri St in only 4-4 on the road, so I feel we have a pretty good shot here.

That is all for tonight. I have been looking and there is just nothing else I like tonight. Tomorrow is another day.

Good Luck Everybody!!
