 A Special Happy Fathers Day For Phillies Fans.
So maybe not this Fathers Day, but in 1964 it certainly was very special.
I know us old timers remember it well. Jim Bunning pitched a perfect game in Shea Stadium against our favorite rival,the New York Mets.
Bunning struck out 10 and banged in two runs to help his pitching effort. The Phillies won 8-0 in this game and went on to win the second game of the double header 8-2.
