Sturm Graz +1/2 -140 over Salzburg (Austria)
Like this play based on the fact that Salzburg has played CL qualifying matches both Wednesdays around this weekend. Salzburg beat Ventspils 3-0 last Wednesday and will play leg 2 this Wednesday take that around the opener in the Austrian league. Graz is a quality side and has only lost once to Slazburg in their last 5 H2H meetings at home. Graz is also undefeated in their last 5 home matches. Aufhauser scored all 3 goals for Salzburg in their mid-week clash, who knows how fit he will be. Short week for one team here, I'll take my chances. They're both even calibre teams either way. I figure either way around here Salzburg would be happy with a draw. I see a draw at worst here.

Krylya Sovietov +1/2 +120 over Rostov (Russia)
I don't get this. Krylya is better team, higher in table and have had MUCH better results in recent years. Rostov has played 18 matches in the premier league and have won ONE (1). They have a league worst in goals and the only thing going for them is the fact that they're playing home. It's been double digit in games before they've won last. I just don't get the odd here... Rostov haven't won at home this year in 8 matches. 13 goals in 18 matches for Rostov doesn't put them high on my list of teams to bet on
I'd expect this to be close, maybe even a draw but the odd here (trust me), is too good to pass up on. Krylya have been struggling as well with 5 games without a win. Both teams should fight here, going with the better side. I can take a draw for Krylya and still win, I'll take my chances. Rostov at 12points (9 behind the next closest) will be relegated this term. The Russian games are often so close that a +1/2 spread in this league tends to be more valuable than others, imo anyway.
Ramble over, these 2 games appeal today...
I'd like to give honorable mention to Charleroi in the Belgium league today at about -225. I'd expect them to win today, you might see this parlayed with Andy Roddick before the day is out.
