hey dan, good to see you here....always feel free to shoot me an IM if you use any of that stuff, naught08 on AIM is my IM name....as far as your plays go...here are my brief thoughts
I obviously like Dent and Jankovic as I'm parlaying them myself and posted my opinion on them so i'll move on to the rest.
The Safin match scares me. He should win, BUT it is a high price, and I know he has looked good, but Lopez does lead the h2h matchup w him at 2-1 (all on hard courts i believe), and all the sets have been close. Lopez is a hard serving lefty and could give Safin some fits here, but seeing Safin defeat Philippoussis the other day bodes well for him, although he didn't break until the final set i don't think, and Philippoussis did give away the 2nd set tiebreak. I'd lean to Safin if you want who wins the match, but I don't like the odds, so I'm not playing it, but safin should , emphasis on SHOULD win.
Likhovtseva at -140 is solid IMO. She has a more complete game, and grass doesn't favor Farina-Elia. Elena has looked good in her 1st 2 round matches, Farina-Elia had a tough time in her 2nd round, I think Lik takes her out fairly easily.
I hate betting on Dementieva because of that god awful serve. She is a brilliant ball striker but on a fast surface serve is important and im not sure her serve can take her far here. She is only 8-6 in her career at Wimbledon and only played one grass court tuneup match and retired in the first set. Washington played 2 tuneup tourneys on grass losing to Clijsters in the quarters in one and Jankovic in the quarters of the other. Dementieva should get by in this match though as she clearly is better than Washington, but it is a steep price.
I like the dent/jankovic/lik plays...maybe add maleeva, i think she is solid tomorrow....
