June 30, CFL Plays Thursday:
RTD: 1-2 5* Edmonton Eskimos -12 -110 over Winnipeg Bluebombers
I have absolutely no problem betting against Winnipeg at any point in time, especially not tonight. I watch Edmonton last week absolutely dominate. Sacking a illusive Kerry Joseph 7 times. Their secondary is stacked this season with the likes of Davis Sanchez and Kelly Wiltshire. Ricky Ray returned last week and was 31/45 for over 354 and they scored plenty. They're getting it done on offense and defense there's nothing more that can be said here. Winnipeg is a team in disarray and are very likely to finish bottom 2 or 3 this year in the CFL. Kevin Glenn is now injured and Tee Martin will get his first action of the season after a stint in the NFL. Martin was 3/5 in the preseason for 39 yards against the same Edmonton team (all the starters playing today weren't likely in that one). Joe Montford and that offensive line is something to behold and with the problems Winnipeg has with their offensive line this could be a VERRRY long night for Tee Martin. I see this game getting ugly too, even if it is in Winnipeg. Too many mismatches here for me. Edmonton's explosive offense should be all over a Winnipeg defense that is likely to suffer this season. I'm taking Edmonton tonight, they should surely win big.
GL!
