At least I was back on the plus side yesterday even though it was only for 1.5 units. I still have not developed a feel for these games yet. It seems like sometimes they give you the obvious ones and other times they don’t. Usually I find something that works like certain conferences if will be favs or dogs, or home dogs…etc. Just have not developed a feel yet.

Fridays are almost like a day off. Very light schedule, but I found some that I like.

Dartmouth +7 vs Harvard (best bet)…………..I am a little surprised that I found a best bet with this small schedule, but I did. Surfing the net this morning I have found that most ivy league players are taking Penn or Princeton today and laying off this game. Not me. Dartmouth already beat them last week, so they will have some confidence going at Harvard. Revenge is only a factor when you are that much of a better team and that is not the case tonight. Harvard has dropped four in a row while Dartmouth has won their last three. The first game went into OT and this should be just as close.

Penn -5.5 vs Cornell (strong play)…………..Most of the time I lean towards the home team in this league, but not here. Nothing special about Cornell at home as they are 3-3. Penn has played the much tougher schedule this year and I think it will payoff and show in tonight’s game. Game will be close for a while, but Penn will pull away in the second half and win by double digits.

Princeton -2.5 vs Columbia (regular play)……………Taking another road team after saying a generally stick with home teams in this league. Here is a stat I got on this one. PRINCETON is 16-2 straight up against COLUMBIA since 1997. On the other hand COLUMBIA is 12-6 against the spread versus PRINCETON since 1997. That tells me Princeton has their number and have been bigger favorites vs them and almost always get the win and not the cover. Well, we are only asking them to cover 2.5 tonight. I will take my chances. Watch Princeton win by 1 or 2.

N Iowa -3.5 vs Creighton (regular play)……………Two very even teams. Telling stat for me is Creighton is 3-5 on the road while N Iowa is 8-0 at home.

I get the feeling tonight is either going to be really great and I am thinking right or it will be horrible and my thinking is way off base. Lets hope for the great night.

Good Luck Everybody!!

hope the ivy plays cashed i havent seen the scores...the niu/creighton play is tough, niu was at home but i think creighton is the best or 2nd best team in that conference when they are right and they seem to have picked it up a bit, more balanced offensively than niu
