I sucked yesterday. Not much more to add to that. You are going to have days like that. One day you can feel great about how you are doing and the next day feel like you have no clue. Just have to hope to limit those days. I am a very unimpressive 14-15 (-8.00 units) for the year.

Half decent schedule tonight. I really like this card tonight. Some of these games just look easy to me. This is going to be one of those nights where I am thinking completely right and I have a great night, or it will be like yesterday where I am just way off base. I am actually due for a great night. I have had some decent nights, but not a great one, so lets home for that.



C Michigan +8 vs W Michigan (best bet)…………..I really have a strong hunch on this game. C Michigan has the better record so far this year. I know they are not the better team though. C Michigan is 4-5 on the road, which is not that bad. They seem to play well on the road. For some reason I just get the feeling this game is going to be close. After all the road teams covering yesterday, it might be a good idea to keep playing them. I cannot believe after I got done saying in yesterdays post how home court meant more in college hoops than any other sport, and looked what happened. I am not going to get caught up in numbers games today and just go with my gut feelings.


E Michigan +5 vs Toledo (best bet)…………….Both teams are on mini winning streaks right now. Toledo is the only team in this conference that is undefeated. This is also a tough conference to win on the road and I get the feeling after tonight, all teams will have at least one loss. It is not out of the question with E Mich having a 5-2 record at home and the Rockets are only 4-8 on the road. Nice home doggie here with a very good chance for the outright win.

William & Mary +6.5 vs George Mason (strong play)…………Not sure what all the fuss is about with George Mason. People have been talking like this is a very good team or something. If so, why are they only 9-7? I know revenge is a big factor tonight with Will&Mary winning at George Mason last week. In my eyes, that just gives them team a ton of confidence against Mason for this matchup. Throw in they are playing on their home court, and I think we have a nice winner here. This should go down to the wire.

UAB +14 vs Memphis (strong play)…………..It is always scary going against Memphis on their own floor, that is for sure, but that is why we have a point spread. Sure Memphis is going to win the game, that is a no brainer. I feel like this game means more to UAB and they will come out and give them a game. Memphis might just sleep walk through this one and have to turn it on late in the second half. UAB always has a respectable team and fourteen is a lot of points. Memphis has been blowing everybody out at home and I feel they are due to not blow somebody out. How is that for some strange reasoning?


Oklahoma State -3.5 vs Texas (strong play)……….A couple of weeks ago everybody was talking about how great Oklahoma State was. This is still the same team. Every team goes through some rough stretches, it is a long season. Home court makes all the difference in this one. Texas is young and is going to fold big time in this one. The real Okie State team will showup tonight. As bad as Kansas won at home vs Okla St, I see Okie State doing the same thing to Texas tonight.


Wyoming +10 vs Byu (regular play)…………….going with my gut again in this pick. Byu is one of the better home teams, but these teams have almost identical records and the cowboys are a respectable 4-4 on the road, so I don’t look for them to be intimidated in this one. Should be closer than expected. Byu wins, but Wyoming gets the cash.

Connecticut +7 vs Pittsburgh (regular play)……………Pitt is almost unbeatable at home anymore, but U Conn is one of those teams that always gives to a headache. Even though the talent is not the same for the Huskies this year, I still think they find a way to keep this close. Just a small play though as Pitt is very capable of putting a hurting on this team.


Still trying to figure all this out. Some nights they give you the obvious winners and other nights they don’t. It has been a tough year to figure out so far, but I am going to keep plugging away.
