Another losing day. Split by best bets, split my strong plays and lost both regular plays. I don’t think I have ever hit a streak like this in college hoops. Maybe it is payback for me having winning seasons in both college and pro football this year. Let’s try this again, although I feel a break coming on.


Virginia Tech +5 vs Georgia Tech (best bet)……………Georgia Tech most of the time does not play up to their potential. So you may not get their best effort here. Also, look at who Va Tech has played and won against this year. This might be the biggest suckers bet of the year, but I don’t think so. I just think most people, including the lines makers, are giving Va Tech the credit they deserve.

Tennessee +8 vs Kentucky (best bet)…………Kentucky has lost me money in the past few weeks. They cannot even win games straight up they are supposed to lately. That game they lost at home to Vandy killed me. I had a lot of them on the money line and as a 12 point favorite at home they lost outright. Tennessee is another strange team that can play great one week and suck the next. In a game of a couple of under achievers playing each other, eight points looks huge to me. I say Kentucky gets the win, but Tenny gets the cash.


West Virginia -5 vs DePaul (strong play)………….Just feel that home court makes the huge difference in this one. WVU can blow a team out in their own building and I feel W Virginia is due to put together a great game today.

Georgia -5 vs LSU (strong play)…………At the start of the season, LSU was the better team, but not now. Georgia has really turned its season around while LSU has struggled lately. I was almost shocked to see Georgia this big a favorite, but there is a reason for it. They will cover today.

Marquette -6 vs S Florida (regular play)………….I hate playing against home dogs sometimes, but I really do not think S Florida is a very good team at all. This is more of a play against them. Of course Marquette is not too shabby of a team either.

Duke -10 vs Boston College (regular play)…………A week or so ago, you would have put a million dollars on BC plus ten. Duke is still a much better team than people realize. I imagine Duke loves all the negative talk about them. Watch and see if coach K does not take them deep into the tourny this year. BC fallen on some hard times right now and could very well get blown out in this one.
