-- Tennessee's star G Lofton (ankle) probably still out, so Vols (1-4 in last five games) might still struggle; they won here a year ago, their only win in last seven series games. Kentucky lost its last two games, blowing 43-30 halftime lead at Georgia last game

-- Charlotte won 72-71 at UMass LY; 49ers are 2-4 in conference this season, 1-1 at home, losing to St Joe's, beating Dayton by 21- they're 0-4 in A-14 if they allow 60+ pts. UMass lost its last two road games, 83-77 at Xavier, 75-72 at Rhode Island.

-- Big game for Clemson, 1-3 in last four games after being hosed at Duke Thursday; they're 2-1 at home in ACC, winning by 1,20; they lost four of last five games vs Virginia, which won its last three games and is 3-0 vs spread on road, winning at NC State.

-- DePaul is 3-0 in Big East of they score 60+ pts, 0-4 if they do not, with losses by 11,10,9,14 points- they're 1-2 vs spread as an underdog. West Virginia is 4-0 at home in Big East, 3-1 as home favorite, winning 81-71/67-56/73-46/69-58.

-- Home side won last three Ohio-Ball State games, with Bobcats losing last visit to Muncie, 81-80. Ohio is 4-2 in MAC, losing its road games, both in OT, at Kent, Miami. Ball State is 2-4 in MAC 1-2 at home, losing by hoop to Toledo, by six to Kent.

-- LSU won last three games vs Georgia, 81-52/95-79/63-59, but Tigers are just 2-3 in SEC (0-5 vs spread), losing road games by 71-61 at Alabama, 72-52 at Arkansas. Georgia won its last four games, rallying from 13-point halftime deficit to beat Kentucky.

-- Virginia Tech won last two regular season games vs Georgia Tech, both by point, but Jackets won 73-54 in ACC tournament. Hokies are 5-1 in ACC, winning at Duke, Miami; their only loss is 82-73 at Fla State. Jackets are 2-0 at home, beating Duke, FSU.

-- Duke won its first two ACC meetings vs Boston College, both by hoop; Blue Devils won last four games, by 22,22,23,2 points. BC allowed 78 ppg in its first two games without shot blocker Williams; they had allowed 68.2 ppg in ACC before he left.

-- UCLA beat Stanford twice LY, 71-54/75-54, after being 0-4 vs Cardinal previous two years; Bruins are 7-1in Pac-10, winning its road games by 15,1,16, losing at Oregon. Cardinal won four of its last five games; they blocked 18 USC shots in last game.

-- Fairfield lost 85-76 at Niagara 19 days ago, as Eagles shot 55% from floor, Stags' fifth loss in last six series games, but Fairfield won its last four games; they're 3-1 at home in MAAC. Niagara won at Marist Friday; they're 3-2 on road in MAAC.

-- Buffalo won three of its last four games vs Eastern Michigan, winning last two visits to Ypsilanti, 80-68/83-64, but Bulls are 1-5 in MAC, 0-3 on road, losing by 1,16,7, scoring just 61 ppg. EMU is 2-4 in MAC, 1-2 at home, beating lowly Northern Illinois by 1.
