Default college hoops 2/6

YESTERDAY

BEST BETS (2-0)(+6.00 UNITS)
STRONG PLAYS (1-1)(-0.20 UNITS)
REGULAR PLAYS (1-1)(-0.10 UNITS)

TOTAL (4-2)(+5.70 UNITS)

OVERALL

BEST BETS (15-17)(-11.10 UNITS)
STRONG PLAYS (22-26)(-13.20 UNITS)
REGULAR PLAYS (21-22)(-3.20 UNITS)

OVERALL (58-65)(-27.50 UNITS)

Good night last night. I was a -33.20 units. I said if I hit 40 I am stopping until the ncaa tourney. Well, I knocked it down to under 30 winning 5.70 units last night, winning both best bets along the way. So for me to give this up and go over 40 units, I am really going to have to suck the rest of this week. Fairly small card….here is what I came up with for Tuesday.

NC State +10 vs Georgia Tech (best bet)………..Many people before Ga Tech’s last game were saying how much of a bust they were, under achieving and such. One good game and now people say they are back. I don’t think so. NC State has sucked all year long…a go against for sure, even by me and I am a wolfpack fan. I just feel it took a while for first year coach Lowe to get things working. Winning at Va Tech and then beating rival Carolina is very impressive. Everybody talked about a letdown against the tar heels and it did not happen. Now people talking about a huge letdown for this game. I don’t think so. With the horrible season they have had, they have just too much pride to give up. They will prove that again tonight. I just don’t see a blowout at all with Tech. I think the pack will be in this right down to the last few minutes. Wether or not they can pull out a win I don’t know, I would not rule it out, but I love the ten points. I thought about throwing more than three units on this one, but I don’t want to jinx it.

Texas Tech -7 vs Nebraska (best bet)………..Might be my imagination, but it seems to me like Big 8 home teams are doing very well. I cannot tell you how many times I got suckered into taking a very good big 8 team plus 5-8 points on the road and they got blown off the court. Not falling for it tonight. Nebraska, who usually sucks on the road, won their last game at Missouri. I don’t see another effort like that from them. I say Tech wins by double digits.

Toledo +7 vs Kent St (strong play)…………..I liked this one already before one very good capper who picks a lot of “WINNERS”, made this his pick of the day, so an outright win is a real possibility. This should be a tight game.

Iowa St pick vs Missouri (strong play)………..Again following my theory about the Big 8. Yes Missouri is the better team, but just not at Iowa State. Missouri, like Nebraska, is night and day at home and away. Feel pretty solid about this one too.

REGULAR PLAYS

BYU -3 vs Wyoming
Air Force -3 vs San Diego St

These two above plays in my opinion mirror each other. They both look too easy. Both should be winners, both could be losers…so will probably get a split. Even though both could go down, I see it as a chance to win both, but more than likely get a split. I don’t see both going down. In my eyes I am only risking 0.10 units to win 2 units.

That is actually a lot of plays for such a small card tonight, but I like them. My goal is to get my unit under 20 by the end of Thursday. Fridays card (ivy) usually sucks and I suck on Saturday.

Good Luck Everybody!!
