wow...ok lost on my call, so i was 1-1 for the day, but just have to post my thoughts on what we just saw. Down 15 with 4:01 to go and they rally to win. As a BB fan i got to say this illinois team is magic. NC may be more talented, and i say maybe, Pitino or Coach K may be better coaches, and again i say maybe. Truth is this team has the heart of a lion, they dont quit and they dont panic, mostly because they understand that it doesnt matter if you win by 30 or by 1, if its pretty or ugly, so long as you win.

so with that in mind let me go on record as saying i dont really expect to pay much attention to whatever the line is against louisville or the final...i'll chalk them on the straight up money line from here on in. As an old race dog, a oat or two is better than a handful of potential carrots. A line of -145 is fine by me, better than sweating out the points

illinois will not be beaten again this year

That was a great game to watch, I guess Illinois is destin this year or something

not destined big just a well coached team first group of guys with the talent to match their desire. As i said NC may have the talent but they dont play anywhere near the level of team ball this illinois team does. They are among the most unselfish group of kids i have seen play in along time, maybe as far back as Knights gang of isiah and company. Or to borrow from another sport, they are the Patriots of college hoops...just get it done and dont matter who does it.

Good reasoning, I thinl Illinois will win it all now like you said, They refuse to lose and thats what wins championships :wink:
