I'm not real exited about this one but I can't turn down the 28 pts. Louisville played 1 exh. game before this one and their next game is an exh. game also. They'll play alot of players and I'm hoping to cover at the end. U-T Martin is a very athletic team their problem last year was they had games when they just didn't play well together. Take the pts. Martin +28

Eastern Illinois has a new coaching staff and only returns 3 upper classmen. In contrast Xavier returns all 5 starters along with their top 2 reserves. It will take some time to learn a new system at Eastern and if Xavier can keep Josh Gomes in check they should be able to cover the 20.

Tenn-Martin holds on to cover 78-61. Maybe this teams learned to play together this year.

I think everyone is looking at that 44 point lose to Texas the other night. Samford shot under 30% in that game and I don't expect them to shoot that poorly in this game.The line has finally moved to where I'm forced to take Samford +29

Mick Cronin returns to Cinn. where he was an asst. coach for 4 years. He brings in a Murray team that returns 9 letterman and all 5 starters. In Aug. this team had a 3 game trip to Canada where they won all 3 games easely. They also got 10 extra practice days to prepare for the trip. Cronin is very happy with the progress his team has made since the first practice this year. I believe this team is very focused for this game and no matter what happens they'll give Cinn. their best shot and won't quit.

Cincinnati is also a veteran team with 4 three year letterman. Both of these teams play great defense and there won't be many open looks by either team. This should be a great game to watch for this early in the season.
