| So. Mississippi is 1-2 on the year with the loses coming against Denver 44-30 and San Diego St. 79-51. They are shooting .409 from the floor and .250 from 3pt range while allowing their opponents to shot .487 from the floor and .432 from 3. Samford is 2-2 on the year with their loses coming against Texas 77-33 and Oklahoma 68-41. They are shooting .428 from the floor and .356 from 3 while allowing their opponents to shot .408 from the floor and .333 from 3. My only concern in this game is can Samford hold their own on the boards. If they can I believe they'll win the game outright. They have very good 3pt shooters and if they get open looks will knock them down. As you can see by So. Mississippi defensive numbers they don't play much defense. SAMFORD +3- |
