AUSTIN PEAY AT SEMO +1 I was hoping SEMO would be an underdog in this game. Most of you know I took Austin Peay and the points at Murray thursday night. The ONLY reason I liked them was because it was Murray's 4th game in 7 days. I thought they would have tired legs and they did. It was just a very good spot for Austin Peay. SEMO has been off for a week waiting for this game. Three things stuck out to me watching Austin Peay at Murray. 1) Once their point guard leaves the floor they don't have anyone else to handle the ball. 2) They had too many unforced turnovers on errant passes and SEMO plays the passing lanes very aggressively. 3) They were terrible at getting through screens and defending the 3pt shot. Booker and Willoughby will have a field day shooting 3pt shots. This game can be an important milestone for SEMO. Redhawks Go For Win 200 At The Show Me Center: Southeast is 199-76 (.724) at the Show Me Center since the facility opened in 1987. If steam plays move the line more in our favor (SEMO +1 to SEMO +3) don't worry just bet more. Thursday steam plays came in on the other side of all 3 of my OVC picks. The only line that really moved was Austin Peay. All 3 of the steam plays lost. I've been watching the Don Best steam plays on OVC games this year and most of the time they lose. I've bet on or against SEMO 9 times this year and lost once. I REALLY REALLY like SEMO to win this game. Having said that, past performance is not indicative of future results. SEMO +1 Might have more games up tomorrow.

This is the second meeting of these two teams this year. Tenn-Martin won the first meeting at Morehead by 13. In Morehead's last two games they lost by 2 at home to E. Kentucky (big rivalry game) and by 9 at Tenn. Tech. I'm still not a believer. Six out of the last eight games for Tenn-Martin have been on the road. I've stated before Tenn-Martin is a much better team at home than on the road. I don't see any reason why the outcome of this game will be any different than the first meeting. Tenn-Martin should pull away in the second half and not look back. TENN-MARTIN -13-

I've been watching this line since it first came out last night at Samford -9 at Pinny. Thursday Samford was a 9- pt favorite over Tenn. St. who is a terrible road team (1-7). It seems they were crying for people to take Tenn. Tech. I wanted Samford in the game at about 4-5. Then when the line opened at Olympic it was Samford -7-. It is -8 now at Pinny and still -7- at Olympic. One thing doesn't change. Tenn. Tech only had 1 day to prepare for Samford and that's not enough. Tenn. Tech. is much better than Tenn. St. but according to Samfords coach they played a terrible first half against Tenn. St. and still won by 20. I'll stay with the hot team at home. SAMFORD -7 (buy the hook)

I want to apologize to everyone for a truely horrendous night. 0-3 Samford was up by 15 in the first half and by 10 at half. They were up by 6 with a couple of min. to go in the game. Half way through overtime they were up by 5 and ended up losing by 3. As the game went on Tenn. Tech. adjusted faster than any team I've seen play Samford. Tenn-Martin never had a chance to cover this line winning by 5. NOW THE SEMO GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was the worst offensive output by a SEMO team in the last 15yrs. They were so bad on offense I wanted to record now 24-19-1 ![]()
