| In SIU's last home game they came out very flat and never did play with their normal intensity. They lost to lowly Indiana St. 63-54 ending their long home winning streak. Then went to Wichita St. and lost in double overtime 71-63. One thing you can count on is SIU won't come out flat or look past Missouri St. When Missouri St. beat SIU at their place 71-63 they shot 48% from the floor and 50% from three. They won't shoot nearly that good at Carbondale. This is a great spot for SIU and a bad spot for Missouri St. I really like SIU at home giving this small number. SIU -4 |

| SIU 66 MISSOURI ST. 64 SIU had a big collapse in the last 11 min. of the game. They went through a long period of that time with very little scoring. At one stretch they were outscored 17-4. The telling stat of the game was they were outscored at home 22-9 from the FT line. Their defense was pretty good throughout the game but they couldn't out run the huge difference at the FT line. Sorry for everyone that followed. I just didn't see them getting beat at the FT line like that at home. record now 35-27-3 ytd |
