I actually had three plays yesterday, all regular plays and I went 0-2-1. I am not counting ties in my standings, it is a waste of time.

What a strange start to my season. I have broke even after the first week (monday night game to go). I have done great on my best bets, but no to well on the other picks.

Just a reminder on how I rate my plays.

Florida State +3.5 vs Miami (best bet)...................This is almost always a great game with a very high chance of it being decided late in the fourth quarter. Miami seems to have had their share of off the field problems this summer. Both teams probably get more respect than what they deserve, just being who they are. I really believe that Miami is going on the downslide this year a little bit and I think florida state is due to get back to where they once were. Paterno did it last year, so why can't Bowden. Sure Miami can win this game, they have a strong history of beating florida state, but my gut tells me florida state is the better team this year and is going to make a statement in this game. I think they are going to win the game, but I am not going to get greedy and play the moneyline. I really think if Miami pulls it out, it will by by 3 or less. Florida states QB last year did very well breaking some records form what I have read and I think he will only get better.


I had this game listed as a strong play for me, but as I was typing this I felt better about it and upgraded it to a best bet. So many of my picks are based of feelings rather than stats. The more I think about this game, the more I like it.



That is it. I am not messing with the total. When it comes to totals, I am about as bad as you can get.
