| YTD 28-25-3 +1.26 Minn @ Wisconsin -8 93 pts in wins over Indiana and Northwestern show Wisky's back on the beam after loss to Michigan. Gophers have dropped 3 in a row including heart breaker last week to Nittany Lions and their only win away from mama's cookin was week one at Kent St. And when u add PJ Hill Jr...only a buck 53 from becoming first badger freshman since Dayne to top a 1000...i see Wisky pounding it down Minn's throat all game long and walking out with double digit win. Wisky 6-1 ATS in heads up. Wake @ NC State -3 Hestitated on this one all week but in the end pulled the trigger on St. Why? Mostly a gut feeling. NC looked to be given up for dead after losses to Akron and Southern Miss but have turned it around big time with upset wins over BC and Fla St. Deacon's on the other hand are a surprising 5-1, but in their one big test let a huge upset slip through their fingers with a heart wrenching 4th quarter collapse last week against Clemson. Asking them to bounce back a week later too much in my opinion. Amato's boys prevail somewhere in the range of a converted td. Army @ Conn -4.5 Army's 3 wins only one shy of last season's 4 and Bobby Ross is bringing some respectabilty to the program but they lose today. U Conn's 3-1 vs army and all 3 wins have been by 27 or more. Conn's averaging 5.0 per carry on the season and Army's surrendering 4.7 which plays into Huskies game. U Conn by 10. Missouri @ Texas A&M +2 This game comes down to a very simple proposition: I don't see Aggies losing consecutive games at home, nor can i see Tigers pulling off road wins in Texas on consecutive Saturdays. Two evenly matched teams but I'm taking A&M. Nebraska @ Kansas St + 9 Not sold on Nebraska and giving 9 to rival K St at Manhatten simply too much to pass up. Husker's probably win, though it's going to be alot closer than many imagine. Tulsa -2.5 @ East Carolina Pirates have been very competitive all year and unbeaten at home but...they're 16-19 ATS at home. Golden Hurricane are well rested coming in off an 11 day break. Their 20-6 win over Southern Miss was quite impressive. They are averaging 4.6 a carry and EC's run defense is average at best surrendering 4.4. In the end what tipped it for me was Tulsa's win at Navy which proves to me they're capable of winning away from home. Navy superior squad to Pirates...so if you're following the line of twisted reasoning. Toledo +7.5 @ Kent St Golden Flashes will be trying for their 5th consecutive win and they may get it (though i'm not holding my breath) but 7.5 pts too much. Tulsa's not Temple. Almost see this one as a gift. Arizona -3.5 @ Stanford Let's just make it official. The Cardinals are toast. Zona's far from a power house but if there's a team and defense they can break out against its Stanford. UAB -5 @ Rice I'll give credit where credit is due...Owls deserve recognition for the monster schedule they bit off this year. But after big win over army they returned to form losing to Tulane. Blazers are putting together a nice campaign and while offense has struggled on the road with 8.5 a game Rice should be just the tonic needed. Texas Tech -7 @ Colorado Curiously Red Raiders have looked more impressive on the road than at home this year which is a trend i see continuing this afternoon. Colorado will still be looking for a win after this one as Tech runs up score...probably by 3 tds Idaho @ Louisanna Tech -3 First thing to do capping this one is to throw out the W-L records. Tech's been much more ambitious with its schedule. Vandals have surpassed '05's win total but are 3-17 SU and 7-13 ATS since 2004. Lou Tech won last yr's game in Idaho by a FG...look for them to add about 10 to that this time. Arkansas St @ Memphis -8.5 tigers 14-3-3 in series and desperately need the win. Ark St barely beat UL Monroe at home last week, 10-6 while Memphis gave UAB all they could handle before bowing 29-35. Tigers by 17. And there we have it, a bug's buggy 12 pack good hunting today compadres
