I'll be honest, I loved Virginia and was thinking about making them MY BEST BET tonight, but, Everyone and their brother has bet Virginia. Therefore, I have cut my units back and it is the smallest wager for me tonight. I even thought about betting N. Carolina for a second.

bee, I use to be a bookmaker years ago and when everyone jumped on one side, 9 out of 10 times you could take the other team. As a matter of fact, my pardner and I would call and act like we were laying off and actually we were betting (about 2 DIMES for each of us) the opposite sides that the bettors bet. Naturally, when you think about it, I have never seen a book close shop because they lost to bettors. So when you hear me say, I'll ride the books coattail you will know what I mean.

I have not checked it lately to see what % it is winning at, but, I would venture to say it is still hitting 70% to 80%.

well nick thats easier said then done-i try to cap the team but i play 65% dogs-i dont care who is playing who.but if the line looks to low or to high then i adjust.many try to play the lines(that doesnt work) all dogs,no good all favs no good.i found out that about 65% dogs is the best way an it works for me.bol tonite

beefree, let me say this I was a small book probably 30 players and when 99% of those players jumped on one side thats when we would bet the other team with the layoff guys. So I don't look at the entire public, just a couple of dozen or so. Last night I went thru 2 forums and DID NOT see 1 person on No. Carolina. I have seen it too many times where everyone in these 2 forums were on the same team and they lost the game. It will not always happen that way, but, enough times to warrant betting against the majority. Let's face it the line opened at -6 and went as high as 7.5. That should have been my KEY the line crossing over a KEY NUMBER 7. I hope I have explained myself enough to make you understand what I was talking about. You will see me say that in the future, that everyone and their brother is on 1 SIDE.
