| We think that there might be a classic overlay in the International Bowl Tonight between Cincinnati and Western Michigan. Maybe not so much an overlay as a pick 'em disguised as a fat seven point spread. Cincinnati is favored by 7 over Western Michigan. We like a play on The Western Michigan Broncos(+7) over Cincinnati Bear Cats. Number one...we like the neutralizing effect of a Neutral Bowl Game. How much more neutral can you be playing out of country? Todays game at the Rogers Centre in Toronto Canada is the first Bowl Game played outside the U.S. since the Bacardi Bowl in Havana in 1937!! Matchup-wise both teams have average offenses ..Cincinnati 20.6 ppg and just over 339 ypg..Western Michgan 22.9 ppg and 315 ypg. On defense, both teams have almost identical ppg allowed at around 19.and both shut down the run very well. We like a lean to Western Michigan in the takeaway department. Bearcats committed 26 turnovers this season while the Broncos defense has an impressive 22 interceptions..sacks Cin 29 WMU 42. While this also looks like a good under opportunity..We like taking The points and Western Michigan as dogs. Western Michigan(+7) over Cincinnati In the International Bowl in Toronto, Canada |
