| Nine schools leave C-USA today - Cincinnati, Marquette, South Florida, Louisville and DePaul head to the Big East, Charlotte and St. Louis to the Atlantic 10, TCU to the Mountain West and Army goes independent. Per the El Paso Times, that leaves the league adding UTEP and fellow WAC schools Rice, SMU and Tulsa. They'll join C-USA's Tulane and Houston in the Western Division. The Eastern Division consists of new additions Marshall and Central Florida, along with C-USA staples East Carolina, Memphis, Southern Mississippi and UAB Based on the fact that C-USA football generally sucks ... and will suck even more with the powerhouses it just landed .... when does basketball start?
