| South Florida risks unbeaten season in New Jersey; they've got wins vs West Virginia and at Auburn this season, now get test at Rutgers team that beat the Bulls 22-20 LY, outrushing South Florida 226-92, holding off late USF rally. Knights lost their last two home games, to Maryland-Cincinnati-- their best win was a 41-24 win vs Navy, but this is also first time they're an underdog this season. Bulls are 2-0 on road (Auburn, Florida Atlantic). Home side won last two Utah-TCU games, with Utes losing last visit here, 23-20. TCU is 3-0 at home this season, winning by 27- 14-12 points, but against three lame teams. Utah won last three games after 1-3 start, winning at Louisville, their only road win in three tries (losses at Oregon State, UNLV)- they ran ball for 542 yards in last two games. Having Johnson back at QB makes them more diverse on offense. Interesting game. |

| #2 South Florida at Rutgers (7:30 PM ESPN) South Florida has won 8 straight dating back to last season, going 6-1 ATS in those games. The Bulls enter this nationally televised game at #2 in the initial BCS Standings released last Sunday and are still not getting much respect from the rest of the country. "I get distracted like everybody else, but I try to keep them to a minimum," South Florida coach Jim Leavitt said. "We've only played one game in the Big East, and our goal from the beginning was the Big East championship. And I want to tell you something, it's going to be a barn-burner these next number of weeks." EDGE: SOUTH FLORIDA The Bulls have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 14 games, but the last back to crack the century mark was Rutgers' Ray Rice, who ran for 202 yards and two touchdowns against them last season in a 22-20 win. Rice is coming off a season-high 196 yards and three touchdowns in a 38-14 win at Syracuse last Saturday. SLIGHT EDGE: RUTGERS Rutgers has not lost 3 straight home games since 2003. Rutgers is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games. The UNDER is 8-3 in South Florida's last 11 road games. The UNDER is 14-6 in South Florida's last 20 games as a favorite. The OVER is 7-2-1 in Rutgers' last 10 games overall. Utah at TCU (8:00 PM) The Horned Frogs are giving up just 6.3 points per game at home this season while the Utes are allowing an average of 28.7 on the road. TCU has won its 3 home games by a combined score of 72-19. EDGE: TCU Utah has thrived offensively since the return of QB Brian Johnson, winning three straight and averaging nearly 34 points per game. The Utes went with two QBs in a 27-0 loss at UNLV back on September 22nd because Johnson was recovering from a shoulder injury. He has completed over 70 percent of his passes since then with four touchdowns and three interceptions. EDGE: UTAH TCU’s much-heralded defense has given up 60 points and 402 rushing yards over its last two games while Utah is averaging 500+ over its last two. In fact, TCU is giving up an average of 139 rushing yards per game this year, and Utah is rushing for an average of 143, so this game could very well be decided on the ground. EDGE: UTAH TCU is 9-3-1 ATS in its last 13 vs. a team with a winning record. TCU is 38-18 ATS in its last 56 home games. |
