This is one game I've been looking forward to for a couple of weeks now. I really like Nevada in this spot, Hawaii will be playing on the road where they have been pretty unimpressive a few times so far by squeaking out O.T. wins @ Louisianna Tech and @ SanJoseSt. and now they are traveling to Reno, where they are 0-3 on their last 3 trips. Coming from the warm weather on the islands they will be playing a night game in Reno where the temp should be right around 37degrees. Colt Brennan is a game time decision after suffering a concussion in Hawaii's last game. Hawaii also in a look ahead spot, with their biggest game of the year waiting on deck vs Boise. Nevada has already proven they can play with the better teams in the WAC, nearly pulling off a win @Boise. Look out for Nevada's qb, if you haven't had a chance to see him yet I think you'll come away from the game pretty impressed, assuming he can play up to his potential and the ways he's played this year: he has 1,248yds w/ 13td passes and only 2int's and also rushed for 465yds and 5td's(and he's still only a sophmore). Nevada has also had 14days to prepare for this game and come up with some schemes to at least slow down the high score Hawaii offense.
Having said all that, as a Hawaii fan I am really pulling for them to squeak out another close hard fought road game.
usually I won't have big write ups like that, but like I said I've been eyeing this game up for a while now.....good luck to everyone no matter what side you play
