NC State at home on opening day. Jay Davis has gotten his troops rallied around him this season. Tons of praise throughout the off season from his players about how he became a leader over the winter and spring. State is 5 deep at tailback. #1 defense in the country coming back. Tech loves to run the ball and when u have the best front 4 in the country, good luck. If Tech can't run the ball, how r they going to be able to utilize their play action??? they're not. Marcus Vick does not warrant all this press yet. Adam Gold off 850 the buzz in Raleigh says hes player of the year in the ACC. come on. lets see him get his life in order before u start donning this on him.

State getting points at home. give em to me baby. i'll see ya in the endzone.

this game is going to be an all out war....prob very low scoring...i wouldnt be shocked to see ncst win this, esp given vick is coming off the long long layoff, but itll be a no bet for me, just something fun to watch....they say marcus is better than his older brother, could be something!!!

big time game. 3rd biggest game of the ACC year outside of UM at Va Tech and UM at FSU.

Vick might be better than his brother but then again all that takes is better than 52% completion %!!!!

seriously, he might be better....in due time. this is no way to unofficially start ur ACC career. (brief play 2 yrs ago.)

yeah i agree this is a tough first game for vick and va tech, but va tech has more talent around vick than does ncst around davis...TA is gone from the NCST backfield..whichever qb doesnt throw the ints will prob decide this game..

trust me when i say, everyone in Raleigh is HAPPY TA is gone. as he progressed from a freshman to declaring to the NFL, he got worse. couldn't rely on him to play and when he did he fumbled.

hence y Chucky Chest couldnt convince his old playing partner Bill Cowher to hold on to him.

this will be a great game and yes, ur right about int's. last team to turn it over loses.

last year NCSU blocked a 40 some yarder as time expired for the win in Blacksburg.
