Picks for today:
I am liking a couple of these however I am only playing a couple straight today for now...
New Mexico -15.5: I like these guys a lot more in the first half for the pure fact of experience should make a big difference in the beginning as UNLV is returning 6 on O and 3 on D from a 2-9 football team last year. New Mexico is having to replace some people also, however they are centering the offense around a kid by the name of Don Trell Moore. If you have never seen this kid in action he is the REAL DEAL... in last years game vs. UNLV he rumbled for 284 yards on the ground. They also have the edge in that as we can tell from our first weekend almost passing it is hard to run an offense with a new quarterback unless of course you have a back that can make up for it... Gelling under a new head coach has turned out semi disasterous for some teams such as the underachieving type teams thinking they will throw a new coach in and they will all the sudden be a powerhouse. Anybody see the Syracuse game???

New Mexico O46: This game will go over the total with the amazing and above mentioned back scoring early and often. Should turn into a one sided track meet I believe and a very convincing victory for New Mexico...

Memphis -3: This is nothing but a trend play being that the visitor has been 3-6 ATS in the past 9 attempts. Miss will be without starting RB due to his lack of academics... Somebody forgot to go to class I think... Gelling under a new head coach has turned out semi disasterous for some teams such as the underachieving type teams thinking they will throw a new coach in and they will all the sudden be a powerhouse. Anybody see the Syracuse game??? Also the back for Memphis should have a huge day... Another Don Trell type see above in DeAngelo Williams. He is electric and should have a big day for Memphis. Miss has be a different team with the younger Manning gun slinging... so I will take Memphis in this match-up

Miami -3.5: Now this on should be a defensive struggle as these two highly touted teams come in with very solid D's... I would love to see this line go to 3 tomorrow before I play it but I don't see a double digit victory and I see a very low scoring game much like the games of recent memory. I am not particularly saying to play the Canes in this spot however could be a better play at 3 and like I said if you think of teasing I really like taking State and the points here along with the Under...

Again fella's good luck to everyone on their plays and would love to hear feedback always on selections or thoughts on players... I watch a lot of different teams and as you will see later on down the road in the season I will begin to follow certain conferences or teams for my capping selections to become much smaller and far fewer plays... These first couple of weeks at times is a crap shoot but there are times you can find a line that is way out of wack... Let's hammer it and stay in the black all year long!!!

Memphis has a very solid team, i believe they win today and win handily...lots of deangelo early and often....like you said teams w new HC might struggle a bit early as they adjust to new systems and schemes, good pick here

mia/fsu...who knows....these games tend to be close, as for the side id prob take miami only because they have been the better team the past few yrs, but i don't see myself playing a side just too risky...the under is a good play, both teams have question marks at qb...mia will again have a dominant defense and the fsu defense is usually pretty good as well....don't see too much scoring here, prob a 20-14 game i would think

Hey we made some money this weekend... that is about all I can say... Sunday and Monday only rendered one fav covering which still has me baffled as well as the fact Miami and Florida State have opportunities inside the five yard line and walk away with zero.... ZERO... neither of these teams should be in the top 25 in my honest opinion until they prove they can jump up and do something... They looked very very bad
