Default VERY INTERESTING !!!!

think about this for a second......

Ohio St was a 27.5 point favorite last saturday and with 0:10 seconds left in the game and Ohio St had the ball on the Aztecs 12 yard line on 3rd and 5 Ohio St was passing the football. Also, on 10 of Ohio St last 11 plays they passed the football with the game in total control as the Aztecs only had 3 first downs in the whole game. Jim Tressel is as conservative as a coach can be.

This makes me have a strong opinion that someone, somewhere connected to the Ohio State coach bet on Ohio St -27.5 points. This is the only conclusion I can come to and if there is not an inquiry into this game, I will be very surprised. If anyone else would have an opinion about this, I would like to hear it.

thanks,
Nick

Coaches, players, refs, all human. Many of them are aware of points overs etc.Even if they put nothing on the game they still have it on their mind.So being human, nothing to do with money, they who are in the position to pull the strings, do so .Add to this those who do wager you can easily see where the end of your game was influenced by someone who was aware,or someone who dared,to bet on the game.I personally dont think it was the latter, but you never know.NCAA likes those huge totals for Bowls etc. However it should serve as red flag, the next time they play, the next time I wager I will keep it in mind. Thanks for the heads up.

The Aztecs have went into Columbus in 03 and last week and played well in the 1st and 2nd qtr. I followed the game the last 2 meetings and Craft has had his team focused on that game as a break through win for his Div. 1 coaching career. He came REAL close in 03 to taking down Brutus the Buckeye, but we all know where really close gets you. I think Tressel wanted to let Craft know you cant come into my house two times in a row make make me sweat.

Default strange things

hi im new to this forum but at another one i belong to we were talking about something else fishy last week. the rutgers buff gm. The clock operator is running the clock all the time and no one cares. There was an incomplete pass, and the clock just kept running the entire time to the next play. no one has put less than 30 on buf this year then you have rutgers that is averging 444 yards a gm and 34.5 pts but could only muster 17 against a tm that has yielded 69 pts. all just seems stange.

Fremen, 1st of all let me welcome you to the forum!!!! Also, I would like to thank you for your reply to the topic I started and for pointing out the Rutgers game. That game was especially important to me as it was my only loss saturday (small play 2*). I wondered how they only scored the small amount that they scored on Buffalo. Now I know, thanks again!!!
