Last week was not the week that I was expecting, but we can take the good with the bad. So far this week, things have gone well for myself, Jump, and Sooner calling the right sides in these weeknight games. I'm expecting the same from myself and the rest of the guys and girls this week and we burythebook!

Friday Night:
Pittsburgh at Rutgers -1.5
I think Jillmark hit the nail on the head when he was talking about this game. Pittsburgh was a pre-season member of the top 25, but has really disappointed this year. But think about this for a few seconds, did anyone a few weeks ago imagine Pittsburgh losing SU to Rutgers? I know I can't imagine it happening. The team is TOO talented to lose this game IMO. Pittsburgh has lost to Notre Dame, Ohio, and Nebraska. I do not feel that Rutgers would win more than 3 or 4 games if they played each of those schools 10 times. As Jillmark said, “Wannestadt is a moron,” but even a moron can coach this team to a win against Rutgers.

This past week Rutgers just beat Buffalo by a score of 17-3!!! How can anyone make these guys a favorite like the public is doing? Pittsburgh could easily be 3-1 right now instead of 1-3 if they didn’t choke job it against Ohio in OT and could have hit the field goal as time expired against Nebraska.

I feel that the Pittsburgh offense finally got on track this past week against YoungstownState and the defense has been up to par all season. Pittsburgh has won the last 6 games in this match-up and I’ll look for number seven on Friday night. I look for Pittsburgh to really blow things open early in this game.

I really would like to take Iowa in this position and if someone can get me talked into them I’ll be on them. From what I've read most people still believe that this game will be a close game. I just don’t think it will be. Illinois is going to be a bottom feeder in the Big 10 all season, and anything under three touchdowns to the league's top teams are a disservice. Ah FUCK IT!

I’m thinking about making 3 plays on Wisconsin. I’ll take the 1st half play on them at -9.5 and I’ll take the OVER of 48… Both those plays I feel have serious merit to them. Where I am hesistant is that I haven’t made plays on totals so far this season that were not coattailed. Thus I'm kind of waiting on it. Sooner told me he'd take a look at the game for me and I've encouraged Yanks26 to go on the over, just want some support I guess on the play. The total has gone up from 46 to 48 since I’ve been trying to decide what I’m going to do. I think Wisconsin scores at least 35 points, can Indiana put up 14? I think so… I think Indiana has a chance of getting a late cover, thus I'm concerned about making the full game a play. I still feel Wisconsin wins by around three td's, but I'd like an outsiders perspective.

Personally I think Syracuse will cover the +21 points at FSU. I don’t think it’s worth making a bet on though. I could very easily see a 28-7 type of game or something like that… I like how the total on the game is moving up and I’d think and UNDER might be a pretty solid play. Syracuse has been lights out this year on defense (their offense just can’t put points on the board). Unless you think FSU will put up 30+ I think the UNDER is a solid play? Anyone have thoughts on this?

After watching Michigan play last week I'm under the impression that they are better than they are being given credit for. Their defense kept Brian Calhoun in check for most of the day, and Henne made some plays he could be proud of. If I can get Michigan at +7 I’m definaely going to take them. I really don't think it willl get their though as it’s only at +5.5 right now. Just think Michigan is too good, and might win this game outright. I’ll take my chances riding with them if I can get a number I like on the game.

I coattailed a play that a lot of the board seems pretty sure about. I know SoonerBS, Pags, Sparty and others are all on Colorado. Their biggest support of the game is that Oklahoma State hasn't gelled yet on offense this year, and the quality of competition both teams have played so far. A side note on the line is that Sooner BS recommends a play up to -6.5... it was still at -3.5 when I tailed the play on Tuesday so I bought the hook.

I see Maryland being able to win the game by a few points at home just because they've been battle tested so far this year and it seems that they're starting to get their shit together. I look at this game as a home dog, against a ranked opponent, who hasn't played major competition yet this year. For some reason I see a SU Maryland victory, but I will stay off of it.

I have never even looked at the Clemson/Wake Forest game... Nothing stood out about it.

Virginia Tech is going to go with USC and become an automatic play for me every week until I think better of it. In this game they have the special teams and the offense in Vick. Something that West Virginia is definately missing.

I got most of my plays in on Sunday night, and there hasn't been a whole lot else that looks that interesting to me. Added Wisconsin and Iowa plays, might add a few totals such as the FSU UNDER as well... I'm waiting for line movement on a few games and if I end up playing them they'll all be for $50. I'll be trashed the rest of the day on Friday and the Bagers have a home game at 11am, so I'll be up and drinking tomorrow morning by 8am or so, because I'm going to need to be drunk to stand through 4 hours of Wisconsin killing Indiana. I'll be checking in early tomorrow morning before I head to the stadium, to see what some other people have as plays. Best of luck to everyone!
