Default Fondybadger's Week #7 CFB

It has been pretty shitty here the last couple of days. I went down to Northwestern for the Badger game where they were just embarrassed, don't know what else to say about the game, except most of you's probably watched more of it than I did. Got booted out in the 3rd quarter for puking in the stands from being so drunk. Don't know what their problem is down there, but it was like they never saw someone drunk on their campus before.

Between NFL and College Football I lost a shade over a 1k, which brings back thoughts of last year during the first round of MLB playoffs where I lost about 3500-4000 over 4 days of MLB, CFB, NFL plays... I vowed that I'd never get myself in that position again, so I backed off on the amount of plays Sunday and didn't go chasing. The weekend gambling wise could have been much worse I suppose for me.

With being gone all weekend, I'm extremely behind on looking at this weeks card. Didn't want to chase as soon as I got back on Sunday night. Felt it was best to regroup here and come out firing on all cylinders this week.

On a side note if anyone is in a position to hire a recent college grad with a 3.0 GPA and a triple major in Legal Studies, Political Science, Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin, drop me a message - I'm really starting to get frustrated in my job search as it seems everything I apply for has "already been filled." Need to start paying back some college loans here in November and I'm very much in need of a "steady" income. I open to just about any type of office job - especially in a law firm as a legal assistant/paralegal or some type of job in sales, marketing, or politics.

WEEK 7 Thoughts:
I'm interested in Clemson on Thursday night as they've played up/down to all of their oppents this year and have kept the games close. I'll be interested in the linemovement, but if it gets up to 7 I'm almost surely playing Clemson. Any less I may end up on NCST, but they play better as a dog. I'm wondering what the southern hick Jhunter thinks of this game. Good god, I called the kid on the phone the other night and all I got out of him was something about NASCAR, inbreeding, and y'awl...

I wonder how many strippers Mike Price bought with his 20 million dollar settlement from Sports Illustrated. Tulane and UTEP have both been up and down on the year, but I feel UTEP has faced the harder competition. UTEP has also beaten Houston, while Tulane lost by double digits. Not truely a road game either as Tulane can't play at home. Where is there "home field" located again? Would look at UTEP in this situation.

Is now the time to hop on the Pittsburgh band wagon? I've lost enough on them this year as I think I've made a play on every game of their's that have had a spread. South Florida still getting too much credit IMO with their win against Louisville.

I'm liking Georgia Tech under three TD's... Fade Duke whenever possible...

Boston College at two TD's? May give that a closer look...

I have line movement listed on Texas at -7.5, I'm guessing it going from -19 to that it's actually -17.5... If that's the case I have no opinion, under two td's though, I'd be all over Texas.

Louisville is turning things on now. That offense has just been... WOW! I'll take them on the road still under a TD.

Indiana has been getting some credit here, but Iowa under two TD's look like one of the better Big 10 plays this week. Wisconsin let them back into the game late, and Illinois is just that bad. Iowa is going to be a top play I believe this week for me at -14 or less...

I'm not sure how I feel about Ohio State this week, but I think they're going to win the game. I don't tease plays, but if I could get them around a pick/take the ML I feel it's the right way to go. MSU should not win this game straight up.

I also think Purdue is a very solid play if you can get them under a TD as Northwestern is an extremely different team on the road.

Go back and take another hack here and fade Temple in the first half. Like Miami -20.5 or -21 first half... as long as you get them under three scores.

Does anyone think Penn State remains undefeated in the Big 10? I think they still end up with two losses on the year in conference. First one should come here at Michigan this week. Definately see a let down coming.

I still think USC comes out firing this week. I'm concerned about their slow starts, but under 10 I'll unload on USC... Under 14 I'll still be on them unless I get talked off of them.

UCONN I might by down to 7, or if the line moves up take them at -10... I'll fade Cincy.

Memphis +10 stands out to me, but I've been playing Memphis a bit this year, and I might be blinded on them. Houston just doesn't impress me too much.

Down in the shit games, N. Texas and Troy State are both small road favorites. I felt they'd both go undefeated the rest of the season in conference. Be interested on other's thoughts in those games.

I decided to pull the trigger on a few games, as I didn't think the line movement on them would help me out at all. May have pulled the trigger on a couple of these too late/soon depending on what happens, but I liked the "football numbers" they were at and took them before their was a more serious line movement against me.

Plays:
$100 Auburn -7$100 Texas Tech -14
$100 Florida State -7
$50 Georgia Tech 1st Half -10 (-60)

What else I'll probably Play:
$50 UTEP -7
$75 Georgia Tech -20
$125 Alabama -12.5
$100 Alabama 1st half -7

$75 Texas -17 (-90)
$75 Louisville -7
$50 Iowa -14 (-60)
$50 Purdue -7 (-60)
$150 Miami 1st half -20.5 POD
$50 Bowling Green -24
$50 Bowling Green 1st Half -12.5
$75 Texas A&M -18
$50 Texas A&M 1st Half -9.5
$50 Northen Illinois -19.5
$100 UCLA -6
$100 Memphis +10

I'd also look at tossing something on:
Clemson, Ohio State, Akron, BYU, USC, LSU, UConn, Arizona

Sorry you got kicked out of the Game Nick. That sucks. You will find a job soon enough and if you can't find one, pump some gas in the meantime or something. Do what you gotta. Don't worry about the school loans bro, you got alot of time to pay that off. Try to enjoy life at your young age and let the worries come later That being said, take what I say with a grain of salt because I don't handle alot of things the right way but I get by .

BOL this week bro, alot of interesting games this week. It has been crazy lately and there should be some value out there on Saturday.
