Sixers GM King says Iverson off table in deal

I guess Billy King didn't feel there was any good offers that were worthwhile this offseason.

2 Thumbs up for King not making a bonehead deal just to "make a trade".

I still hope BK tries to make a couple of moves so at least the Sixers aren't dreadful to watch next year.

well that just gives me a reason to hate the sixers again this yr as i am not a big AI fan....and the only thing being worse than having to watch the sixers yr in and yr out right now has got to be me watching the horrible knicks over here lol, but on a serious note, i think he has to go at some point, maybe during the yr but unless they get something decent in return let the guy retire as a sixer

Thats the whole thing naught. BK probably felt the trades on the table for AI probably wouldn't of improved the team so he said no. I credit BK for being patient and not just going after anything because he feels he needs to get something done. I would rather BK still at least try to get some pieces around AI, which he has miserably failed to do since 2001. Even Barkley and others have said AI isn't the problem, it's recruiting of the wrong kind of players to surround AI and Webber. Both of these guys obviously need weak side help on defense and there is none.
