Is there any doubt? Even if the Phillies don't make the playoffs I think he wins it easily. He is a big part of why the Phillies are even in contention for the wildcard right now, plus he has some sick numbers that NO ONE can compete with. He will end up with 60 HR and 150 RBI batting over .300.

That is nasty.

how can u tell me he has no one on his team...u guys lead the league in runs...which means obviously ppl are hitting, not to mention if someone has 150 rbi someone has to be getting on base...what about lance berkman? houston has much less of an offense than philly and look what he is doing...beltran had a good chance at mvp going into sept but then he went into a slumber, only met who has been consistent all yr is reyes but i doubt he gets it even though he should be in the top 3 for the award, itll be interesting...go pads, dodgers and astros

I never said he has no one on his team

I said he is a big part of why the Phils are in contention for the WC, which he is the biggest part.

Berkman has some very nice numbers but Howard has better stats all around and Phils have a better record, so if thats stands I can't see Berkman beating out Howard.
