[OLD HEAD]

Everyone seems to have an opinion on the Don Imus fiasco. If you all do not mind, here is mine. I have been a viewer and listener for years. I do not condone what he said, he did not say it with malice or pre-meditation, that is a no brainer. The man has a heart the size of the world. You can't take this man and try to destroy him or all of his good works for one off the wall comment that was never meant to hurt anyone.
This was a calculated effort on the part of a few people and organizations to do what they could to bring him down. If you look into the numbers you will probably see the political part of this sooner or later.The conservative party in this country has been taking a beating with their boy Bush lately,
and I am sure they have much to do with the sponsors, who pulled everything. The Republican Party, who has run this country into the ground, still controls big business and they still have their grubby hands everywhere.
It is my humble opinion that when word got out they jumped on this like white on rice.They finally had something to run with,a breath of fresh air for a party that is down to its lowest approval rating in years.
Money talks and you know that after MSNBC decided to suspend Don Imus for two weeks the political machine started the push to have him fired.
Jackson and Sharpton do not dictate to anyone, but the money people with their ties to the Republican Party and the Conservative base do. What is one more life to the bunch of Idiots we have in office right now? They have killed so many since they took office that this is nothing to them.
However, Imus lives and I expect him to do the right thing as he always tries to do and rebound from this. If I were one of those who tried to destroy him I would be very cautious, he will be heard from and I would not want to be on his people to do list.
I have the up most respect for people who serve their country,beat addictions, do more charity work than you can shake a stick at,tell people what they really think,and take no prisoners.
Once again he did not say what he did with malice or forethought. He is a good man with a great heart.

Imus should not have been fired 2 week suspension woulda been plenty. What he said was wrong especially too young girls just out of high school black or white but too much was made this and i think I'm gonna boycott NBC till they put the show back on!! Al Sharpten is one of the most prejudice persons on TV with out a doubt and he blew this situation way out of proportion.A lot of the this bullshit was political Imus reaches a lot of voters the whole thing just sucked.
