New SCI Design Coming

I haven't been around the forum lately or updated much the past week because I've been in the process of giving the site a major facelift.

The whole site and forum will be much improved and should be up and running sometime next week. If I had to guess I would say next Thursday.

Welcome to SCI Caden. The new design will just be a simpler and user friendly layout. Will definitely be easier access to the rest of the site and also easier on the eyes, especially those on 1024x768 resolution screens.

Today and tomorrow I will be making the tranformation to the new site. If you see some wierd things, just be patient, it will all be done by tomorrow night. Much improved IMO.

Front page looks good Tommy...is that the only upgrade?

I like the front page as well and only have 1 problem and that is the front page used to fit my comp. screen and now its to wide....LOL. Keep up the great work we all appreciate it.

Thanks Charlie. I'm still working on it. Still not a finished product as of yet.

The whole site will be re-done, forum included. About half the pages of the site are done now. It's taking me more time than expected

Thanks DC. Glad you like it. I think it's better personally.

I checked the site stats and over 80% use 1024x768 screen resolution, so I decided to go that route. More and more sites everyday are also going that way as well.

I suggest changing your resolution to 1024x768 and then you will fit just fine. If that is too small for you, then buy a bigger moniter

You are currently on 800x600 resolution and that size is fastly becoming extinct across the internet.

, see you can teach an OLD dog a new trick. I can get use to this as this has also helped me out on some other sites as well that didn't fit as well, THANKS.

P.S. Is there a way to center the web page? just asking.

Yeah, there is a way to center it or even make it full width, but things look better from left to right...
