Default Why is Baseball Betting Overlooked?

Most sports bettors are taking time off waiting for football this time of year.

Not many even want to get into baseball betting for some reason. Why is that? The only thing I can think of is that not many like to watch baseball.

I love to bet on baseball and think there is always value to be had and money to be made.

You know how much money you would have made this year just fading the Yankees? It's incredible just to think about it.

I really get into baseball wagering right after the All-Star break because everything is pretty much settled down and the good teams are usually more likely to prevail. By this time we see who can pitch and who is just an inflation in price.

because its a day after day grind......where as football is just a 2-3 day grind....and people dont want to put in the work (and/or) dont have the bankroll for a long bases season.......thats the main reason alot of people dont bet bases.......plus its summer time and alot of people have families and kids......and the weather is nice so why waste your time w/bases!

The weather is nice in September as well. Plus baseball is America's past time. For the US bettor, baseball is the equivelent of betting Aussie Rules or some shit. Makes me sick to my stomach...lol

Plus no point spreads. I think point spreads bring alot of people into sports betting. Not too many people want to lay 200 to win 100.
Peolple want to bet 100 to win 90 and lay 7 points. They think the oddsmakers are setting the line to make both teams even. Therefore they go with favs. I've seen alot of so called "experts" bet only favs. Plus baseball is such a pitching dominant sport. You just don't know if he is gonna have his stuff. Tommy you even said it yourself, after the all-star break. If you've been good 'till then, your most likely legit.

Baseball betting is getting to be like horse racing. Just a bunch of old men reading a racing form.
