| Full Tilt Poker Promo Code EASY MONEY Full Tilt Poker's Nenad Medic Wins the WSOP $10K Pot-Limit Hold 'em World Championship Bracelet Dublin, Ireland Team Full Tilt’s Andy Bloch and Patrik Antonius also make the final table of 2008’s first WSOP event. Full Tilt Poker’s pros had a strong start to the 2008 World Series of Poker, with three players reaching the first event’s final table and Nenad Medic walking away with the Champion’s bracelet and more than $794,000 in prize money. Medic entered final table play with 1.2 million in chips, which put him in second place behind Team Full Tilt’s Andy Bloch, who had more than 2.1 million. The newest member of Team Full Tilt, Patrik Antonius was the short stack with 230,000 chips, and was eliminated in seventh place. Medic took the chip lead late in the tournament when third-place finisher, Kathy Liebert moved all-in with pocket sixes. Bloch called the bet with pocket nines and Medic over-called with pocket Queens, which improved when he hit a third Queen on the flop. That hand gave Medic a 2-1 chip lead over Bloch entering heads-up play. In the end, Medic won the bracelet when Bloch, holding 9h-9s, moved all-in on a flop of 8h-5s-4h. Medic called the bet with the 5h-7h and turned his flush. A fourth heart failed to fall on the river, and Medic captured his first career bracelet along with more than $794,000 in prize money. Bloch earned $448,000 for second, while Antonius took home $124,000 for seventh. "In less than two years, Nenad has won a WSOP bracelet and a WPT title," said Team Full Tilt member Howard Lederer. "He’s a great player and it shows just how deep the Full Tilt Poker team really is." Medic’s victory gives the pros who represent Full Tilt Poker a total of 80 WSOP bracelets. "Team Full Tilt", is a select group of the world’s finest professional poker players, including Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman, Erick Lindgren, Erik Seidel, Andy Bloch, Phil Gordon, John Juanda, Mike Matusow, Gus Hansen, Allen Cunningham and Patrik Antonius who have collectively won 32 WSOP bracelets. This is Brooks' first professional cash in a major tournament. Brooks will donate his entire winnings to the Decision Education Foundation, whose mission it is to teach the science of decision making to youth in grades K through 12. At the beginning of this final table, Brooks stated that he was hoping to get lucky. Brooks indeed did get lucky, but he also showed tremendous skill outlasting 157 other opponents and taking home $415,856 and the gold bracelet. | Jimmy Shultz Winner: Not Just the cash, not just the bracelet. Touching stories about good people are part of everyones poker game from time to time. It does not matter if you are playing in a house game, at your club, in a Poker Room at a casino, any game, anywhere. Small talk, sports, religion, sex, rock n' roll, good people, bad people ,stories and more. At the World Series Of Poker some good or touching stories always manage to rise to the top. Jimmy Shultz wins Event #12, collects almost $258,000, and his story is simple. A good friend, a tragedy in his community and never forgetting a good friend and poker buddy that died in that tragedy. About a year ago on June 18th nine firefighters died while fighting a fire in Charleston, his friend Louis Murkey was one of the nine. All nine were members of the City of Charleston Fire Department. Shultz played this tournament with all of them in mind. He is donating 25% of his win to the families of those who were lost. "Louis Murkey was a friend of mine. He played poker with me. I have known him for about five years….I am one-hundred percent privileged to do this (make the donation) for Louis and for the other folks and all their families,” said Shultz during an emotional post-tournament interview. “I can’t wait to get back home because this was for all for them. This was for a lot of other people rather than just me.” Anyone who would like to donate to the Charleston Firefighters Fund can do so by contacting: Charleston Firefighters' Fund c/o S.C. State Firemen’s Association Endowment (Tax ID # 56-2254232) South Carolina State Firefighters’ Association Attn: James Bowie P.O. Box 211725 Columbia, SC 29221 THANK YOU!

| Thu, 12 Jun 2008 02:50:20 Congratulations to Mike Matusow, Champion of Event #18 ($537,862) Mike Matusow is the champion of Event #18. This makes his third WSOP gold bracelet. "I want to thank all of my fans," said Matusow, as he was being interviewed by WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack. Matusow was clearly overwhelmed with emotion, though not quite to the point of tears. "I don't know much about this game," joked Matusow, "but I know no-limit. If I continue to play like I played this week, it's gonna be a real good World Series." That comment drew a rousing round of applause from all of the fans who stayed into the late hours of the night to watch Matusow's triumph. On the last hand before dinner, Matusow lost a huge chunk of his stack to Lisandro after betting a pair and getting called by Lisandro's ace-high. He came back from the dinner break with about ten big blinds in his stack. Just before play resumed after dinner, Matusow came over to our media table and started talking about the tournament. "It ain't over," he told us. He got that right. 2008 39th Annual World Series of Poker No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball w/ReBuys (Event 18) EVENT #18 Monday, June 09, 2008 to Wednesday, June 11, 2008 Buy-in: $5,000 Prizepool: $1,735,020 Entries: 85 Rebuys & Add-ons: 272 Top 11 In The Money 1.Mike Matusow $537,862 2.Jeffrey Lisandro $347,004 3.Barry Greenstein $225,552 4.Erick Lindgren $156,151 5.Tom Schneider $104,101 6.Tony (Tony G) Guoga $78,075 7.David Benyamine $58,990 8.Tom Dwan $45,111 9.Dario (Ryu) Alioto $34,700 10.David Grey $34,700 11.Chad Brown $34,700
