Congratulations to Daniel Negreanu, Event #20 Champion!
It was deja vu all over again for Daniel Negreanu, capturing his fourth WSOP bracelet in the very same event where he won this third back in 2004.

Negreanu arrived at this final table as far and away the most experienced and decorated player among the nine, and proved to everyone here today why he deserves to be called one of the world's best all-around players.

Negreanu rushed into the crowd after the final card was dealt, high-fiving his friends and embracing his mother, who still lovingly prepares her son vegan meals for lunch every day of the series.
"Me-1, Ivey-0!" cried Negreanu as he hoisted his new piece of jewelry in the air. The two poker legends have a standing bet during this year's WSOP in which one pays the other $200,000 for each bracelet won. That will effectively double Negreanu's prize money from this victory. As Negreanu sat back down at the table for his winner's photo behind his wall of chips and his winning , he paused for a moment to dig his cell phone out of his pocket. Final-Table Seat Assignments Announced

A powerful finale is in store for Monday in Event 28, $5,000 Pot-Limit Omaha w/ Rebuys. Beyond the first-place prize money of $817,781 at stake, there are several interesting side stories, from the Internet pros (Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, Brian "tsarrast" Rast) at the top of the board, to the star-laden power of the rest of the table, including Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda, Johnny Chan and Phil Hellmuth. Hellmuth squeezed into this final on a very short stack, outlasting Chris Ferguson, and it's Hellmuth's 40th final table, breaking his tie for that mark that he had shared with TJ Cloutier. Hellmuth, though, has a tough road to bracelet #12, while Chan sits with mid-pack stack as he seeks his own 11th bracelet, which would tie Hellmuth's mark established just last year.

Congratulations to Sebastian Ruthenberg, Event #33 Champion! ($328,756) We began this event on Tuesday with a field of 261 runners. It took a whopping 29 levels of play over the course of three very long days to find our champion.
Sebastian Ruthenberg bested the entire field, which was absolutely laced with pros, to take home the title.
The real highlight of the tournament was his hard-fought one-on-one battle with Chris Ferguson. When heads-up play began, Jesus had roughly a 2-to-1 chip lead. Ruthenberg came all the way back to take a slight edge, before being crippled all the way back down to 200,000.
He hung in there though, and came storming back against the much more accomplished pro. After more than three hours of head-to-head dueling, Ruthenberg managed to come out on top. For his good work over the past days, Ruthenberg will take home $328,756, a shiny new gold bracelet, and the title of Stud Hi-Lo World Champion.
